01 Who we are

Mobtaker Creative Academy ("Mobtaker", "we", "us") is a creative education academy based in Cairo, Egypt, operating the website mobtakeracademy.com.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us any time at the address at the bottom of this page.

02 What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form on this site, plus the minimum technical data needed to serve the pages.

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number, industry, the topic you picked and your message.
• Course application form: your name, email, WhatsApp number, age, city, experience level, preferred round, the course you applied to and anything you write in the goal field.
• Webinar registration: your name, email and WhatsApp number.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser information in standard server logs, kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

03 Why we use it

We use your data only for the reason you gave it to us.

• To reply to your message or your application, by email or on WhatsApp.
• To tell you about the round you asked about — dates, fees, seats and joining details.
• To send you the link and reminders for a webinar you registered for.
• To keep a record of enquiries and enrolments so the team does not lose track of you.
• To keep the site secure and working.

04 Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in running the academy and answering the people who contact us.

We handle personal data in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

05 Marketing

We do not sell your data and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking. If we ever start a newsletter, joining it will be a separate, clearly-labelled opt-in, and every message will carry an unsubscribe link.

06 Cookies

This site uses essential cookies only: a session cookie and a security token that protects forms from abuse. They carry no advertising or tracking data.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated and a cookie notice will be added before any non-essential cookie is set.

07 Who we share it with

We share your data only with the service providers we need to run the academy, and only as far as the job requires.

• Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database on servers in the EU.
• Our email provider, which delivers the notification emails our team receives and the emails we send you.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there — that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
• The authorities, if a valid legal request obliges us.

08 How long we keep it

Contact messages and webinar registrations are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us.

Course applications and enrolment records are kept for up to 5 years, so we can confirm attendance and issue or reissue certificates.

You can ask us to delete your data earlier and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

09 Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

• Tell you what data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your data.
• Stop using your data for a particular purpose.
• Send you a copy of your data.

10 Minors

Some of our programs are open to learners under 18. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian submit the form or approve it first — we will ask for their confirmation before confirming a seat.

If you believe a child has given us data without a guardian’s consent, write to us and we will delete it.

11 Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are protected against cross-site abuse, and access to the admin panel is limited to named team accounts.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the competent authority as required by law.

12 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
